Autumn-flowering Camellia sasanqua - less known, but no less beautiful than the Camellia japonica. As they bloom at different times, a combination of the two varieties with their abundance of beautiful flowers and their light fragrance will please your eyes and nose throughout fall and winter. The evergreen shrubs with finely serrated, fir-green, glossy leaves love partial shade and acidic, moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil and acidic fertilizer.
