The new fig variety 'Variegata', also known as 'Panaché', delights with its fruits, which are yellow-green striped and just as delicious as other fig varieties. The foliage is green and has no pattern. The new variety is slow growing and mostly sets its medium-sized to small fruits in June/July, which ripen by late fall.
Quality: attractively striped fruit even on very young plants; fruit set without pollination; attractive plants with hand-shaped & aromatic leaves; easy to overwinter
Use: from April in containers on balcony & terrace or in the garden; planted out in the garden; year-round in an unheated conservatory
