Liquidambar styraciflua - Sweet Gum, Red Gum

In fall, the leaves of the American Sweet Gum trees (Liquidambar styraciflua) turn from green to glowing shades of red, yellow and orange. Hardy and a noble, little-known and far too rarely used perennial for your garden in moist soils.
