Hesperaloe parviflora - Red Yucca, Coral Yucca

This usually stemless plant (Hesperaloe parviflora), similar to the yucca palm, forms a rosette of narrow, leathery, blue-green leaves above which rise flower stalks bearing showy red flowers in summer. It is extremely frost resistant and a great plant for sunny gardens in temperate and subtropical zones.
