Jasminum nitidum - Angel Wing Jasmine, Star Jasmine, Royal Jasmine
In contrast to its family members, which quickly grow in height, the evergreen Angel Wing Jasmine (Jasminum nitidum) grows bushy and in summer produces intensely fragrant, 4 to 5 cm large, very elegant flowers, consisting of 10-12 petals.
Angel Wing Jasmine (Jasminum nitidum) fully lives up to its noble name. For not only are its flowers 2-3 times larger than those of most other jasmines, but their usually 10 petals are also very slim and elegant. Angel Wing Jasmine is an attractive groundcover with a shrubby habit, especially if you prune it regularly. Its leaves are not pinnate, but simple and glossy, with entire margins and pointed tips. All in all, a heavenly addition to your patio, winter or indoor garden.
Quality: intensely fragrant & white flowers; permanent bloom; slow growing & small; evergreen
Use: in pots from April/May to October outside on balcony, terrace and in the garden – during winter indoors; all year round in a heated conservatory or bright room
