Dasylirion serratifolium - Desert Spoon

Since Sotol plants are mostly grown from seed and like to bastardize – that is they cross between species – the Desert Spoon (Dasylirion serratifolium) is somewhat variable in leaf color, ranging from blue-green to dark green. The leaves have sharply serrated edges and the frayed tips typical of the genus.
