Cephalotaxus harringtonia is native to Korea, northern China and Japan, where it forms trees up to 8 m high with streaky bark. In our country it usually grows shrub-like. By the way, the species is named after the English Earl of Harrington, who was one of the first to plant a Japanese Plum Yew in Europe in the 19th century.
