Description

The variety ‘Star Ruby’ with its red fruit pulp grows well branched and robust. Due to the weight of the fruits, the branch ends often hang over. There is little to no fluff on the leaves and twigs (grapefruit influence). The flowers are large (4-5 cm) and stand together in larger groups, usually at the branch ends. They have an intensive fragrance that can be perceived from a distance. The fruits are round, the peel is yellow or sometimes slightly orange in color. The difference to other grapefruits is the reddish colored pulp, which is very aromatic and rich in juice.
